This interactive workshop will focus on discovering the beneficial properties of antibodies and the impact of structure/format and function, the types of targets amenable to invention with an antibody therapeutic and the parameters and requirements for the effective production of biologic therapeutics in cells.

The BPS Diploma in Advanced Pharmacology GART workshop will develop and refresh knowledge of how common theories of drug action can be quantified and how simple receptor mechanisms can be used to interpret pharmacological data. The workshop considers both agonist and antagonist action and the interpretation of radioligand binding data, from basic mechanisms to clinical application, and is appropriate for anyone with a background in the biosciences and at least one or two years of experience of laboratory experiments.
